Literary translation is a genre of literary creativity where a work written in one language is recreated in another. Translation of literary works is considered a literary pursuit in its own.
Mada Translation, through its founder, is active in this field. Mr. Jalal Khalil is a regular panelist and participant in literary translation events in the region, such as the annual Sharjah Professional Development Program run during Sharjah International Book Fair as well as the International Literary Translation Summit in Doha. He has many published translations of literary works.
